First off, I’d like to thank those of your who have stopped by my blog for taking some time out of your busy days to look at what I’ve put together and contemplate some of the messages that I felt were important to share with the world. The fact of the matter is, this blog is not really what I hoped it would be. When the idea to create a blog first came to me, I envisioned a space much likes that of Alia’s Inner Bliss, Julia’s Painted Path, or Katie’s Head Heart Health. I wanted it to be personal, I wanted it to help people. I wanted it to be a place of refuge and wisdom, love and connection, beauty and inspiration.
I began by sharing my voice and telling my truth, but then the doubts crept in that told me that I wasn’t good enough. That I didn’t know enough to help people. That no one would benefit from my work or even care to read it. So I got fearful, and instead of using my own words, I used other’s, and I reduce my blog to a fraction of my original vision. Yes, everything I posted here resonated with me and felt worth sharing, but I’ve been holding back. I’ve been acting from a place of fear. But that time is over. I know that I can help people. I know that I have a gift that I am meant to share with the world. We all do.
So within the next couple of weeks I’ll be unveiling my new website and blog and in 4 months time I will begin taking on clients for my health and life coaching business. I believe that my life’s purpose is to help others be healthy and happy and live the lives of their dreams. And the first step in doing that is refusing to put off my own dreams any longer.
Those of you who have been reading my blog already, I’d love to hear:
1. What is the main thing you know you could be doing for your health that you continue to struggle with implementing?
2. What do you think is getting in the way of you living the life of your dreams (or if you are living the life of your dreams, what is the biggest thing that helped you get there)?
I look forward to reading your comments and I can’t wait to share my heart’s work with you!
